4 Bespoke designs for an exciting redesign!
We’re thrilled to share our latest collaboration with Loungers PLC – a British hospitality group known for their vibrant, all-day informal bars and restaurants dotted around the UK. Anna was commissioned to create four bespoke prints for the bold redesign of their much-loved Cosy Club – a chain of 37 eclectic venues.
With her hand-painted prints, alongside plush upholstery, and layered textures, the refreshed space offers a distinctive and sensory-rich update to Cosy Club’s design story.

The loungers history…
Loungers was founded in 2002 by friends Dave Reid, Alex Reilley, and Jake Bishop – seasoned bar and restaurant pros with a vision to create the perfect place they’d want to drink in. Their first site in Bristol quickly gained a following, and soon Loungers venues began popping up across the UK. In 2010, a grand building in Taunton sparked a new, more decadent concept – and the first Cosy Club was born. Today, it’s a go-to spot for vintage style, lively atmosphere, and great food.
A new era of cosy
Fast forward to today, and Cosy Club interiors are undergoing an exciting evolution – embracing a 1970s/brutalist aesthetic that celebrates texture, shape, and sensory design. The new streamlined concept began in the basement of Loungers HQ, developed and led by Dan Coughlin, Lyzanne Smith and Cassie Nichols.
The new look features a rusted coral palette, smoked glass, reflective surfaces, and heavily textured matte upholstery.
To help bring the concept to life, Anna created four bespoke prints, each carefully designed to complement the feel and energy of the space. Working closely with the design team, she applied her prints across wallpaper, fabric, and upholstery, delivering a cohesive and unified look that supports the overall vision. Bespoke designs don’t just influence colour and scale; they help define how a space feels and functions.

Anna’s hand-painted prints
Quartz – Used on chrome tubular chairs and bar stools
Ziggurat – Applied on seating and wallpaper throughout the space
Fleck – Spanning carpets (in collaboration with Axminster Carpets), upholstered walling, and seating
Cardine – Featured on curved-back wooden seating and textured wall panels

The banquette seating, expertly crafted by South West Upholstery, is the shining star of these projects, a wavy sectional sofa and circular ‘hero’ piece that spotlight Anna’s prints beautifully.
Paired with sleek quartz ‘Cesca’-style bar stools and chairs by Taylor’s Classics – upholstered in Anna’s zigzag design – the prints are layered throughout the space to create a visually engaging interior with rhythm, all while channeling a glam 70’s aesthetic.

One of Anna’s highlights on this project was being asked to design the flooring – a first. Collaborating with Axminster Carpets, she chose the wool colours and built the pattern pixel by pixel (with each pixel representing a thread). This process allowed the seating design to flow seamlessly into the carpet, reinforcing the immersive, continuous feel of the space.
Another exciting new venture was designing fabric for the outdoor seating. Anna created a simple bold stripe in coral tones, printed on high-performance canvas – proving that we can print on a wide range of fabric types for both interiors and exteriors. It’s not all about velvet (though we do love it!).
All of Anna’s designs for Cosy Club started as paintings, a method she often uses. This process allows her to experiment freely and results in a natural, organic feel with a handcrafted quality.
Bespoke print design for interiors
This collaboration is a perfect example of how bespoke design can shape an entire environment. Anna’s process begins with conversation and curiosity – translating your brief into original, handmade artwork, ready to be adapted into wallpaper, fabrics, carpets, or lampshades.
Whether you’re developing a boutique hotel, a restaurant concept, or a one-off residential space, using bespoke prints offers the opportunity to reimagine your interior and to create something truly unique.
